Brass sign: (Eagle) / Victoria. With an Insurance document for the Victoria Insurance Company Limited. Signs Insurance Brass plaque or sign (on a later backing board which has been made for display. Plus paper insurance document. The sign excluding the backing board is about 230 x 205 mm. Late 1800s-1900s
Good. Sign was found in Western NSW and had some dents and bends which have been straightened and flattened out for display. Some wear and tear and marks but largely brilliant detail. This sign was probably for an office that sold policies from the Victoria Insurance Co. The Insurance document is later but obviously from the same company (it is in fact dated 1940). It is in great shape with basically just the main folds and some light wear and tear. A really nice display item. Grade: N/A Estimate: $70 - 100
