S. Geddes / Trade Mark / S.G / Oakey. Base Mark: 2076. (Queensland) Aerated Water Codd Applied top, tooled finish. Four way pour Dobson style patent with four dimples. Aqua. 10 oz. 227 mm. 1910s
Very Good. A bit hazy looking internally, though a fair amount of this is a fine film of dirt that looks like it will soak out. Deep scuffed mark to right side of right dimple at front. Little scuff above the left dimple. Rear right dimple has some scuffs around it too. Scratches to the inner neck groove, likely from a bottle brush. Scuffed wear to and around the seam at the front upper body below the neck groove. A few scuffs around the rear upper body as well. Small open bubble to front right heel. Some wear and little fisheyes to base edge. Some other little scuffs and scratches to the body and a few little impacts. Crate wear and nibbles to the upper embossing and trade mark. A solid example of this rare Queensland bottle, this is the first large one we have sold, only ever having sold one small one prior. Grade: 7.3 Estimate: $300 - 400
