Plain cobalt bottle with two labels from Rocke, Tompsitt & Co, 3 Flinders Street West, Melbourne. (Victoria). Medicine. Chemist. Applied top. Cobalt. 20 oz. 231 mm. 1900s
Excellent. (8). A bit grimy, this would clean off but would need to be done carefully to protect what remains of the labels. Small surface bubble or two. A few scratches. The labels are very discoloured. The upper label has large chunks of it missing. Lower label has a small tear to the upper part, otherwise is entirely in place. This is very stained and hard to read but is basically label saying that 4d deposit has been made on this vessel, as long as the label remains in place when the vessel is returned, the 4d will be refunded!. Estimate: $10-20
