Cobalt Blue Cathedral Vinegar (or Whisky). No base mark.. Goldfields. Vinegar. Wide round body. Six double arches around. Three stepped rings to shoulder and neck. Applied top. Cobalt Blue. 26 oz. 239 mm. 1860s
Excellent. (8.8). A lot of annealing lines in the neck and top from making. Some slight wear and scratches around. These are of course a beautiful bottle with wonderful colour. Have been known as a Cathedral Vinegar but the vendor informs us these may well have contained Whisky.. Estimate: $700-1000
