Tel. 1638A / The / Express Dairy / Perth. W. A. No base mark. (Western Australia). Household. Dairy. Applied top, spun finish. Green. 1 Pint. 211 mm. 1910s
Repaired. (0). This was originally in good condition but fell at a bottle show years ago and broke around the rear neck. The pieces have been glued back in place, there was one little spot to upper rear neck which has been filled with glue, otherwise all the pieces are in place. The glue has yellowed. The left rear neck at one of the joins does have a very little hole too. Looks like two larger pieces and one small piece have been glued back in. The upper inner neck where the piece is missing has popped out on the inside in a impact type star fracture and flake. Looks like it had been polished as well. Some scratches remain and little fisheyes and impact marks. Drips of glue to be found. Glass remains whittled and being made from recycled glass is crude, full of bubbles and impurities and the colour is stunning! Whilst this is heavily damaged, it is very rare and sought after and may well be the only example you will be able to add to your collection.. Estimate: $100-150
