Good. (6). Entire outer wad lip and around 10 mm down on the neck has been ground! Both seams have also been ground down to the bottom of the shoulder! Base mark has been ground off, pretty much ground under the entire base! WHY??? This would NOT have been done by a collector, was it done at the time of making? Regardless, the fact is that it has been done at some stage. Little sliver to inner lip. Some light inner haze. Either a surface bubble to the front neck or an impact flake. Little nick to rear base edge. Some fine scratches and little scuffs. Whilst there is a fair bit if grinding work, it is not deep. A proper polish to shine it up will leave this bottle looking really good. A lovely, early New Zealand pictorial large milk bottle.. Estimate: $20-30
