N/A. (N/A). 1. VG. Nibbles, small chips and bruises all around the upper lip. Burst bubble on the thread. Bit of stain and light marks around. Bubbles in the glass. Nice pronounced embossing. 2. Good. Dull and stained. Lip has numerous chips all around. Scuffs and scratches but not too deep by the looks. Should clean up well. 3. EXC. Not even a lot of wear on the base so can't have been used much. A tiny flake or two on the lip. Some minor marks. Milk glass insert inside the lid is in place but broken in three pieces. 4. VG. A few small chips around the ground lip. One on the side of the lip looks to be from making as it is a smooth indent. Big print on this one. Haze and some scratches around. Good fitting lid. 5. Good. Unusual Australian jar, also unusual that it has been dug or dived and not just out of a shed or similar. Swirled opalescent stain, looks to be pretty much just surface so would clean up well if desired. Fitting lid with a clear glass insert. 6. VG. Light scratches and wear all around. Bit of dust and grime. Thought there was a bigger chip on the back lip but there is a dip there from manufacture with a 2 or 3 mm chip or rough spot on the edge of it. Some other fleabites around. 7. VG. Chips on top of the lip all around. Separate to these there is also flaking all around down the outer and inner lip. Just a pale amethyst. There is a slight bit of haze. Minor scuffs and marks. Lid is obviously not original but fits very well. Nice looking jar. 8. VG. Stained throughout but only surface. Just some general scuffs and scratches. Has had baby oil inside. Shoulder embossing is a bit weak. (late Ern Taylor Collection). Estimate: $100-200
