N/A. (N/A). 1. VG. A bit dirty and stained. Hairline over the back top up to about 65 mm, can also be seen down the inner top. Little nibbles, chips and flakes around the underside of the base edge. Malt stain inside the jar. General scuffs and wear. Nicely formed big top with a ledge inside for the neatly fitting lid. Nice item and a good deal harder to get in this large size. 2. VG. A curved crack under the base just in from the outer edge and around half the base, looks like it would have been there from the time of making pretty much. Finer V shaped hairline under the base as well more towards the middle. A glaze miss or two on the lip. Some light marks. Print is hard to read but the potter has given themselves a task as they have printed it on a heavily textured surface. An interesting piece of advertising. 3. EXC. Dust and grime. Short firing crack in the mid left inner edge. Crazing. Cute little item. 4. EXC. Dust and grime. Some crazing. Minor marks. Lovely little piece. 5. VG. Hairline down the front right from around the shoulder to the lower right middle, about 140 mm in total. Dirt and grime to the top and shoulder. Kiln kiss below the right shoulder. Bit of stain. Some other minor marks. Nice strong stamp. Just a plain sort of jar but unusual with how strongly the top and neck have been made. (Votava Collection). Estimate: $100-150
