N/A. (N/A). 1. VG. Dull. Bit scruffy and scratched. 8 x 5 mm bruise under the back base edge. 9 x 3 mm chip to the inner back lip. Some roughness around the rest of the inner lip. Bubbles and manufacturing marks, a fairly early screw top type, in fact these were made for use with crown caps and screw tops. 2. Some dust and grime. Just a little bit scuffy. Probably grade better with a good soaking clean. 3. VG. 10 x 3 mm chip to the screw thread on the right side top. Bit hazy and dull. Remains of the capsule around the neck. 5 x 3 mm fracture in the surface of a bubble at the left edge of the circle around the embossing. The bubble underneath is longer and has some white stain in it. General scratches and scuffs. 4. VG. Just a bit dull and stained. Minor marks. Big manufacturing fold at the front base. Nice strong embossing. 5. EXC. Light scuffs and wear. Bit of dust inside. Nice whittled glass. Great embossing. A real beauty. 6. VG. A bit dirty and stained. Really shallow 4 x 2 mm corking bruise to the inner front lip. 2 x 2 mm flake on the front left shoulder. Light marks otherwise. Good solid bottle. 7. VG. A bit hazy and stained. Scratches and scuffs including some deeper ones on the back neck and lower back. 8. VG. Lovely bottle with a very nice colour. Has a 6 x 5 mm bruise on the front left shoulder just above the word AND. Thin 5 mm fracture in the back shoulder. An inclusion in the lower back but no faults around it. Amethyst stopper with cork surround is a nice addition. 9. VG. Some haze and stain. A few small surface fisheyes and pit marks around the base mainly. The odd deeper scratch and mark. Nice colour and embossing. (late Ern Taylor Collection). Estimate: $150-250
