Very Good. (7.5). I think this is very good? Some may say far better, some may say far worse! What it is is utterly unique! Fine scratch near right lug. Two short scratches where the wire scrapes when opening and closing. 5 x 3 mm glaze flake to front right shoulder, small glazed over flake to right of this. 4 x 2 mm glaze flake to right shoulder. Right rear shoulder has a 6 x 5 mm flake. Rear shoulder has a 4 x 2 mm flake, left shoulder has a 5 x 5 mm flake. None of these are bad, some are possibly even from making? 60 mm hairline from rear shoulder down. 6 x 6 mm iron spot has popped to the lower front left alongside the badge, this is a making mark. Couple of discoloured hairlines circle around the body towards the base edge, these could well be making marks? Little potters pull or two under the base. Not sure if you noticed, this bottle has a glaze miss! Or should I say it is a glaze miss? Much of the bottom half has no glaze at all including across some of the print! There are some drips down this. Other glazes areas have a wavy feel where the glaze has not struck properly. This really is a fabulous and unique example that I am tipping was rejected at the pottery? I say this as this bottle was sourced in England, I doubt it ever left the country until it was sent over to us to sell in this auction. Don't miss this unique opportunity, this is a rare bottle..
