. Ceramic inkwell with black writing. 102 mm wide. 1900s
Very Good. (7.4). 7 mm fine hairline to upper outer edge on narrow side. Little glaze flake to one upper corner. 6 x 4 mm flake to upper part of base pedestal on the Blue Black side, at other end of this side there is a 8 x 4 mm flake. The lower outer edge on this same side off to the right has a 8 x 4 mm. 10 x 4 mm horseshoe hairline to base edge and under heel has a little thin flake associated with it. Little glaze flake on opposite side under the heel. A bit of wear under the base. Some light rust stain in places. Crazed throughout, one or two slightly discoloured glaze hairlines. Little short scratch to the L of Blue. Some little nibbled marks to the corners. A really good example, better than standard. We have sold one of these before which was identical on three panels, the fourth panels was totally different! I didn't realise there were variations of these rectangle shaped inkwells.. Estimate: $100-150
