N/A. (N/A). 1. Repaired. A couple of large sections of the top have been overpainted but hard to tell just how big the chips have been. Hairlines down the inside from one of these chips but not visible outside. Little flake off the heel. Scuffs and marks around. Looks ok. Repairs could be finished better. 2. Good. Long shallow chip under the front base edge of about 40 mm by up to 15 mm across. Another four small flake chips under the base edge elsewhere. Minor marks to the body. Pretty good overall. I presume the lid is from a different jar but is interesting although badly damaged. Grading is for the jar only. 3. VG. Some rust stain and light wear. Couple of flakes near the base edge. Crude piece and probably Australian pottery but not stamped. 4. VG. Interesting little jar. Early looking and I would hazard a guess it could well be Australian pottery but unmarked. Some small chips and flakes on the lid. Crazing. Bit of stain. (late Ern Taylor Collection). Estimate: $50-100
