N/A. (N/A). 1. Good. Nice and shiny and presents well but has a long shallow chip over the back right lip of 25 x 7 mm and a similar chip under the base that extends up to about 40 mm and as much as 9 mm across. This base chip also goes up the outer back left edge a bit. Nice embossing. A crude type of machine made jar. 2. VG. Stained. Inner lip has flakes and nibbles all the way around. 6 x 3 mm bruise on the lower part of the outer back top. Scratches and scuffs around. Fairly early example for these with the big AGM. 3. Good. Dull and stained. 7 x 3 mm bruise to the back lip. Short annealing lines coming down from the lip all around. The lip also has lots of small flakes, fleabites and roughness at least in part from the crude finish. Some scratches and wear around. Early looking example of this jar. 4. VG. Stained all over. A few scratches but not too many deep marks. Very light and finely made jar. Embossing is a bit weak. 5. Good. Dull and stained. 10 x 5 mm chip to the front right lip. Some scuffs and wear. Light embossing. 6. VG. A bit stained. Some scratches and wear. Crude mould line around the neck. Unusual branded jar. 7. VG. Dull and lightly stained. Small flake on the back lip. Some scratches around. Crudely made. Good strong embossing. 8. VG. Mostly shiny. A few small marks around the outer top of the lip. A pair of small chips of about 2-4 mm on the underside of the front top. 10 x 4 mm bruise on the back shoulder. Smaller shallow mark near that. 5 x 5 mm bruise down near the start of the back embossing. A bit dirty and grimy. Nice strong embossing. (late Ern Taylor Collection). Estimate: $100-150
