N/A. (N/A). 1. Good. Nice, flat lid, this is an early one. Note that the words Trade Mark are not on this example. About a 25 x 4 mm section of the face rim has been repaired at about 3-4 o'clock. A superb job which I nearly missed, it was the overpainting on the outer flange that highlighted it to me. Minor hairline to inner flange in this same location. A few nicks around the bottom of the flange. Some minor discolouration and scratches. This has a base which has some flakes and chips, a bit of discolouration, a pitted scratch and stained crazing. 2. Good. 9 x 2 mm flake to lower outer flange. Couple of small flakes to flange. About a 40 mm hairline at 11 o'clock into the face, can be seen top and bottom. 7 x 3 mm flake to outer left rim. A bit of discolouration. Some crazing. Couple of other little flakes to flange and maybe a fine hairline or two. Has a base which has some small chips and flakes which are mostly covered when the lid is in place. 3. VG. Some inner grime which will clean out. Small discoloured shallow flake below the end of the word Rheumatism to the base edge. 4 x 2 mm discoloured shallow flake to heel on opposite side. Making lump to inner rim has a little minor flake to it, this is from making. Little glaze nick to upper rim. Crudely made with some lumps and bumps scattered around. Decent example of this early Australian found pot. Estimate: $100-200
