Excellent. (8.5). The main body has remains of some metal around the upper knob, this is rusty. Some grime in places. A few crazed marks. There is a second flat piece with a handle and holes that slots inside this, presumably there would have been a limestone or charcoal piece held in place by this flat item, the actual filter itself is no longer with this. Very unusual item, looks like it was marketed as a portable filter for going on picnics and the like, after all, this tiny item would fit into ones pocket! Estimate: $50-75
