Chinese Sword made of Cash coins strapped together with red string. Australian found. No idea on age but a lot of the coins show a fair bit of wear from circulation. Metal spine inside that the coins are tied around.. Chinese. Coins. Chinese coins bound together in a sword shape. Red string. Tassel. 605 mm long. 19th or 20th Century
Very Good. (N/A). Circulated coins with wear and general marks. String seems a plastic sort of later type but not sure of age. Some of the coins are definitely early but then these were used for centuries. It is a remarkable piece whatever the case. We sold a previous one but it was only about half the length of this one. Would take some patience to put this together. Estimate: $50-100
