N/A. (N/A). 1. NM. Original stopper with thick leather washer in great condition. Discoloured spot to mid body looks to be from making. A few scratches and minor scuff marks, but pretty much as made. Great piece of South Australian pottery, very unusual style which we haven't sold before. 2. VG. A little fine outer lip wear. 7 x 6 mm flake to left base edge. Couple of other small flakes and nicks to base edge. Some discolouration under the base. Some minor discoloured spots and marks to the body. 3. Very Good. Doulton Lambeth example. Unglazed upper lip from making. Shoulder flakes. A few minor heel flakes. Some discolouration. Scuffs and scratches. 4. Very Good. No potters stamp. A few discoloured minor lip flakes. Discoloured scratch or two. Some other scratches and minor marks. 5. Very Good. Smith & Co., Old Kent Road, London potters stamp, not one I am familiar with! Unglazed upper lip from making. Tiny flake to lower lip. A few scratches and minor marks. Flake to base edge adjacent to potter stamp. Interesting item. 6. Very Good. Stiff, London. 6 x 7 mm lip flake. Some nibbles and wear to sharp shoulder edge. Some fine scratches and marks to be found. 7. Very Good. No potters stamp. 4 x 4 mm flake to outer lip. Couple of other lip nicks. 40 mm hairline to one side. Some glaze misses to base edge. Flake or two to base edge from making. A bit of discolouration. 8. Excellent. Large glaze misses from making. Some fine discolouration and minor marks, but pretty much as made. 9. Very Good. Dip in lip from making. Discoloured throughout with some rust stain as well. Little flake to bottom of lip.
