Money Box Depicting Jolly Man with Jug of Ale. Money Taken In Here impressed to rear. (Australian?). Pottery. Australian. Money box with brown Rockingham style glaze. Impressed. 102 mm. Early 20th century

Very Good. (7.1). 17 x 13 mm odd patch to front at his feet, this is a flaked area but almost looks semi glazed over? Some dust and grime. Crude fold under rear base, thin area is a bit nibbled along this. Little flake or two to heel. Little flake or two to opening of coin slot. Little nick or two to glaze. Great item in my mind, and must be rare in this condition. Obviously never used, as the only way to get the money out is to break this. Looks quite early. I have a feeling this may be Australian made, but don't know for sure. Regardless, it is a great little money box and piece of pottery. Estimate: $100-150
