Large 18th century Dutch Bellarmine. Has a 4 over a wavy line to the shoulder.. Pottery. Bellarmine. Salt Glaze. Handled. 1 Gallon or so. About 380 mm. 18th century
Excellent. (8). Looks to have been ocean found, there are some small coral encrustations to be found. Little potters blow outs and lumps to be found, some wear to the small lumps. A few discoloured scratches. Some stains here and there. 10 x 5 mm chip to right rear base edge, just minor marks to the remainder of the base edge. Some minor wear around the upper body. Great example of this early piece of pottery. Unusual with the number on it as well. Estimate: $200-300
