Excellent. (8.4). Nice jar with wire bail, now has the top wire and a lid. Upper ground surface is very good, it has the typical shallow flakes and nibbles to inner edge predominantly, but some to the outer edge as well. Some usage wear under the base. A few scratches to the body, nothing major. Lid is badly chipped on the immerser section, smaller chips to the upper part. Great embossing, this is a very rare Australian fruit jar. (The exact same jar as sold back in Auction 20, Lot 677 so still remains the only example we have had through). Estimate: $400-800
