R. E. Marks Aerated Water / 560 / Serial No. / 560 / Ginger Beer / Manufacturer Crookwell. Impossible to read small potters stamp to the back. (New South Wales). Ginger Beer. Lightning Stopper. Dump. Tan Top. Blue Print. 10 oz. 178 mm. 1910s
Very Good. (7.6). Shallow glaze chip to the left lip in kind of an L shape, 5 mm along the top and then 4 mm down the side. Crazing throughout, dark in places with a bit of rust and black stain. Front left shoulder has a shallow chip of about 8 x 8 mm. Original wire in the top but missing the rest of the bail and stopper. Where the bail has originally met the neck on both side is a deep rusted scratch, typical of these types of bottles. The main thing you notice with this one is the stain and with a bit of a clean this will be a sensational example of a very rare bottle. Estimate: $1500-3000
