N/A. (N/A). 1. VG. Thin flakes and some rust around the lip. Some rust to the body as well. Couple of dark stains too. Couple of minor flakes to heel. Solid example of a crude bottle that would have been made at one of the smaller potteries. 2. VG. Effectively this is near mint as it is pretty much as made, just rather crudely! Main making issue is a large chip to lower rear of about 28 x 27 mm. This has a lump of iron in the middle of it and is most definitely a potters blowout, albeit a large one! Roughness to the glaze down the front is also from making as is presumably the darkness near the base edge amongst this roughness. Has a bit of a dull look, again, probably from making. Overall, a great example showing the crudity of manufacture. We have not graded this bottle with a score as it is a bit difficult to. Estimate: $40-80
