Milk / F. O. Pritchard / (Cow) / Mentone // This bottle cannot / be legally used / or sold by others / Please wash & return / One Imperial Pint. Base: 366 (smaller L51). (Victoria). Household. Dairy. Wide Mouth or wad top. Seam through lip. Clear. Pint. 206 mm. 1934+
Good. (6.4). Right side lip (on the seam line) has a deep 14 x 13 mm chip that has been filled with araldite or similar and is now yellowing. Back under the base has a 7 x 6 mm chip and there are a few other little flakes and marks around the base. Bottle is a bit dull and scratched all over. Some wear to high parts of embossing but great detail on the trade mark. Several little fisheyes scattered around. Still a nice looking milk bottle as is and quite rare. (This is the same bottle as we sold way back in Auction 6, Lot 206 and then again in Auction 39, Lot 591). Estimate: $150-300
