A. M Bickford & Sons / Limited. Base Mark: M. (South Australia) (Late Kingsley Durdin collection). Household. Cordial. Applied top. Long tapered neck. Deep recessed ring to upper body/bottom of neck. Cylindrical body. Aqua. 26 oz. 335 mm. 1900s
Very Good. (7.6). A bit of light inner haze or dirt, very minor and may even clean out totally. A bit of surface wear around the lower neck on the top side of the recessed ring, a little more below the ring. Tiny surface flake to right rear lower shoulder. Even tinier surface flake to mid left body. Couple of pitted surface scratches to upper front left. Some other scratches to be found, a few are slightly scuffed, but nothing overly deep. Some other light scuffs and minor marks. Little surface bubble or two. A few small fisheyes and impact marks. Great example of an extremely rare bottle, I have never seen another one! Listed as a cordial, could possibly have been a vinegar, or maybe even something else. Regardless, an amazing rarity and a once in a lifetime opportunity. This is from the late Kingsley Durdin collection. Estimate: $1000-1500
