Excellent. (8.2). Some slight wear around the lip. A little curving scrape of 4 or 5 mm on the back lip. Glaze has a slightly discoloured look but that appears to be from making. 23 x 3 mm section under the potters stamp is a little chipped and flaked. Also an 8 x 4 mm chip or kiln mark at the back base edge. The print is very bold, basically feels embossed in large parts. The S of Johnson is barely readable but that was true of the only other example we have sold and seems to have been a problem with the stamp itself. Nice example of a very scarce ginger beer. Estimate: $500-1000
