Soda Syphon. Hand engraved: J. Osborne, J. O. and also an O roughly engraved on the base (Dubbo). Also etched via a stencil: Dandy Preserves Pty Ltd / Soda Water / Dandenong. Originally also had a Port Fairy Cordials label over the Dandy part. Spout engraved Warrnambool Cordials! (New South Wales & Victoria). Aerated Water. Soda Syphon. Round. Cobalt Blue. 30 oz. 242 mm without spout. 1890s - 1930s
Very Good. (7.7). A lot of bands of wear around the middle. Scratches and scuffs. A few pit marks and the like. Looks like some stain inside but this is very dark blue glass. A great syphon in this colour and very interesting showing extensive use by different companies over a long period of time and in quite different locations. Estimate: $1500-3000
