Poor. (4.5). Handle is missing. The whole top is chipped off. Some scratches. Dark X hairlines across the base. A fingernail chip to the base edge. Rare and early demijohn. Obviously has major damage but the main part is complete and well worth getting repaired. Despite the comma in the name the company was Robert Scott & Co. They operated at Moorabool street from 1867 (when they took over from McGee, Dick and Co) until 1888 when they moved to Malop Street. Some chalk and colour rubbed in to the stamp to highlight it. This remains the only example known as it is the same one as sold way back in Auction 35, Lot 370. Estimate: $500-1000
