Good. (N/A). Left upper lug is heavily chipped at the front. Right one is also chipped to a lesser extent. Chips, flakes and wear around the edges, typical of a terracotta garden tile. Heavy, flaked scratches across the front. Joseph Wellington Ferguson passed away at the age of 68 in 1940. He was instrumental in saving four miners in a mine disaster at the McEvoy mine in Eldorado in 1895 where six men lost their lives. He was awarded the Royal Humane Society's Silver Medal and Certificate for his efforts. We have not sold one of these tiles before. Estimate: $30-50
