Very Good. (7). Polished. Has been very worn and there is the remains of pitting and the like all over. But also the glass itself is crude with lots of inclusions and little marks from making. Clearly from one of Melbourne's smaller suburban glassworks. Has been some chips and nibbles around the lip that have been reshaped. Band of wear inside the neck. The whole surface has a kind of orange peel effect which is partly from wear and tear and partly from manufacture. Possibly unique today as we haven't heard of others. This one was found many years ago and is on public sale for the first time. Estimate: $2000-4000
