Excellent. (8.5). We sold this exact example in Auction 45 (Lot 401). This bottle has an applied top, the previous one was a spun top variety and the example since was also a spun top variety. Whilst this looks like the fifth sale of these, it is only the third example that we have sold and remains the only true applied top variety that we have handled. Some wispy dirt inside. Thin mark to the front right neck is just on the surface and is where the glass has stuck slightly in the mould. A small surface T shaped mark on the mid back right over about 5 x 5 mm. The odd light scratch around. Embossing is superb. This is a brilliant example of this rare Gippsland marble bottle. Estimate: $2000-3000
