Bickfrod's / Cherry Schnapps / Liqueur. Base: B (in fancy sunburst design). (South Australia) (Late Kingsley Durdin Collection). Spirits. Liqueur. Applied top, spun finish. Concave, tapered panels in a pyramid shape. Amethyst. 26 oz. 267 mm. 1910s
Very Good. (7.5). Couple of patches of inner haze, actually looks a bit like inner dirt so this may soak out, regardless, it is minor. There is definitely some inner shoulder dirt which will soak out. Left heel has a 10 x 6 mm flake chip, the side base edge here has an associated nibbled flake over only about 8 x 4 mm, all being on this base edge area it is hard to see and realtively minor to being with. Embossing is great with no marks. Little flake to front left base edge. Some fine scratches and the odd minor scuff mark. 8 x 2 mm sliver which is very shallow to the lower left front towards the base edge. A superb, fancy bottle which is extremely rare and sought after! This is from the late Kingsley Durdin collection. Estimate: $1000-1500
