Excellent. (8.7). Extremely rare bottle from Edward Smith Hall, of Hackney, pickle manufacturer, trading as Barton & Co. in the 1880s. Wonderful example too! Upper lip surface has a small section of making surface splits. Some fine surface lines to inner lip from making. Scratch and fine scuffed mark to upper front. A few scratches to rear neck, shoulder and mid body and lightly scuffed marks. Streak to lower rear above the Siemens trade mark is a line of bubbles from making. A few other light scratches and the odd scuff mark. Lovely swirls and whittling to the surface. Superb example of an extremely rare bottle, we have never sold one before. This is from the late Kingsley Durdin collection. Estimate: $750-1000
