Sold for A$180
Unmarked Deep Green Torpedo with Thin Lip and Unusual Chunky Pontil Scar. Rectangular section to the middle of one side where a word has been blanked out in the mould.. Aerated Water. Torpedo. Thin flared lip. Deep Green. Pontil. 10 oz. 201 mm. 1850s
Excellent. (8). Some scuffs and scratches around the wide part of the body. Weird pontil, basically a lump of jagged glass. Small patch mid body looks like it has had a word removed from the mould, I have seen this style and shape of bottle with the word SODA in the middle, surely that was what was on this one? Beautiful piece of glass! (Same bottle as sold in Auction 61, Lot 959). Estimate: $100-200
