P.G. Dixon's / Celebrated / Ginger Ale / Melbourne / (six heavily embossed pointed panels). No base mark. (Victoria). Aerated Water. Patent. Upright cylinder. Applied top. Aqua. 10 oz. 218 mm. 1870s - 1880s
Very Good. (7.5). The top and inner lip have been ground and polished to diminish some small chips around here. Remains of the main chip measuring about 6 x 4 mm can be seen to the inner front left lip. Some light scuffiness and wear over the body of the bottle. Some little nibbles on the raised lines around the base edge. Slight bit of haze inside. Nice embossing. This is a very clean example of this very scarce and unusual bottle. First we've had through for a long time and by far the best example. Estimate: $1000-2000
