Very Good. (7.5). A bit of fine haze around the lip and neck. A bit of light haze in places internally and either some in places outside, or a bit of surface grime, either way, it is very minor. 6 x 3 mm pitted impact to heel on Phenoline side. Near this is a 10 mm pitted scratch across the heel on the Not To Be Taken side, this is a little flaked at each end of the scratch. Tiny nick or two to base edge. On close inspection, there are quite a lot of scratches and scuffs, but these are shiny and so aren't immediately obvious. It is likely these are shiny because this has had a light polish, a very good job which has not effected the very strong embossing which is fantastic! Rare bottle which is one of the most sought after of the early Victorian phenyle bottles. This is from the late Kingsley Durdin collection. Estimate: $500-750
