N/A. (N/A). Very Good. Registered on 19th January 1857. Same buckle as originally sold in Auction 39, Lot 993. Now been cleaned a bit. Has some spots of verdigris plus tarnish and wear. Both pieces are nice and solid. Raised print of the maker and registration diamonds on the back is hard to read. Originally attributed to the United Aboriginal Eleven but that team didn't appear until 1868. This buckle is actually commemorating an earlier game between the United All England Cricket Team and the Marylebone Cricket Club. Still a beauty and a very early buckle. Estimate: $150-300
