Very Good. (7.9). Bottom half of the gold border has worn off. Spotted dark stain patches around, largely avoiding the face but on the rim, flange and underside. Pair of shallow chips on the flange of 5 x 4 and 5 x 3 mm. Base is solid with a small chip and a hairline. Grading for lid only. Really nice example of a hard to get Melbourne pot lid. (late Ern Taylor Collection). Estimate: $500-750
