Excellent. Face is perfect. A couple of very small spots of light wear to the sharp edges. The bottom left corner edge has a small flake to it, 2 x 3 mm. At the bottom of this edge where it meets the base is a slightly nibbled section, just through the glaze which is very small. Another 2 x 1 mm glaze flake to this bottom edge half way along the side. Couple of other tiny marks. Very light and short scratch on the underside of the lid. An absolutely superb lid which is exceptionally rare. This does come with a base which is heavily crazed with some chips and flakes. Grading is for the lid only. Grade: 8.85 Estimate: $3000 - 4000
