Very Good. (7.6). Wire handle is rusty. Black patch under front right lip, I think this is under the glaze. Couple of minor glaze misses and a small flat spot to the lip are making marks. Scratches to the tan shoulder. The upper body where the tan comes just over the shoulder has some heavy wear around this tan part through the glaze, mainly a 45 mm section to front right but lighter sections elsewhere, though there are some glaze misses amongst these as well. Some swirled lines around the body seem to be from making, there is a discoloured hairline along one of these to the lower rear over on;ly about 45 mm, this is very fine. Some scratches to the body. 12 x 4 mm chip to left base edge. Little chip under front right heel is possibly from making, regardless it is minor. Little glaze flake or two. Unusual tap instructions to the lower left, much shorter and different to normal for these Pearson demijohns. Whilst we havce sold one of these before way back in Auction 25, it had the standard lengthy tap instructions, and so this is different, and therefore the first example we have sold of this very hard to get and sought after Tasmanian demijohn.
