Very Good. (7.5). Some little spots of wear and discolouration to the upper lip. Making splits where the handle meets the body at both ends. Tiny surface nick to left base edge. Couple of little glaze nicks around the body. Glaze scratches and surface wear around the body, heaviest to the wide part of the upper body. To the right of the word Fine is a crescent shaped mark over about 60 mm. This is a making mark, it bulges out with the bottom part having a fine making split which is glazed over. The high part of the bulge has glaze hairlines along it. Some other glaze hairlines around the jug including some long examples, with crazing eveindent all around as well, heaviest around the lower jug. Solid example of a rare, highly collectables whisky jug. This is the first we have sold without a potters stamp. Estimate: $750-1000
