Repaired. (0). We sold an example in Auction 62, but it was salt glazed! It had no top nor handle! This at some stage also had no top, nor handle, but in this case is repaired. New top has been applied from the bottom of the neck. New handle has been attached, handle is possibly entirely manufactured from scratch but looks the part nicely, whereas the top is from another jug and matches very nicely. Hairline to bottom half of front top. Some blue marks around the body are surface marks which should soak off. A bit of discolouration around the body but not too bad. Some fine scratches and minor marks. Little dark split type mark from making to the O of Lion. Good repair job, this looks great on the shelf and is very rare. Estimate: $300-400
